
CHSE Odisha +2 12th Science, Commerce Result 2022 Updates: The Council for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha today declared the result of the HSC or +2 exam result The result was declared by School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash at 4 pm. Students may check their results on the official website of CHSE at chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in.
Around 3.50 lakh students registered to appear for the examination this year. The result for +2 Arts stream will be announced on August 8.
The Plus 2 exams this year were conducted in offline mode from April 28 to May 28 in the morning shift. Those who do not clear the exam will be eligible to appear for the supplementary exam. Candidates have to score a minimum of 33 per cent to pass the CHSE Odisha +2 exams.
In 2021, the board cancelled plus two exams and students were evaluated based on alternate assessment criteria. While in 2020, CHSE conducted some exams while the rest were cancelled due to the country-wide lockdown. The major papers which were cancelled were economics, statistics, geography and biology and students were evaluated based on the exams they attempted.
CHSE Odisha declared the commerce stream results today. A total of 273 students have secured more than 90 per cent this year. Boudh district recorded highest pass percentage at 100% while Deogarh region recorded lowest pass percentage at 61.53%
As per reports, a total of 1124 students have secured more than 90 per cent marks in the Plus Two Science stream exam 2022 with 50157 students securing the first division, 14932 got the second division and 6910 students placed in the third division.
The pass percentage in Plus II Commerce examination is 89.20%. This year, a total of 21,165 students have passed in the Commerce stream – 10863 scored the first division, 5053 got the second division and 5242 got the third division. The pass percentage of girls is 90.71% while 88.32% of boys passed.

The CHSE 2 pass percentage for the science stream is 96.12% and for the commerce stream is 89.20%. In 2021, the pass percentage for science stream was 95.15 per cent while for commerce was at 94.96 per cent. Read more
The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha will announce the results for the Plus 2 Arts stream on August 8. Over 2 lakh candidates had appeared in the Arts stream this year.
This year, board recorded an overall passing percentage of 89.20 per cent in the commerce results. A total of 134 schools recorded 100 per cent result while 273 candidates have secured more than 90 per cent marks this year,
In the CHSE Odisha +2 result for science stream, as many as 50,757 students secured first division, 4,932 students secured second division while 6,910 students secured third division. As many as 393 schools have recorded 100 per cent result.

In the class 12 result declared today, an overall pass percentage of 94.12 per cent was recorded. Girls performed better than boys with a pass percentage with 94.52 per cent while the pass percentage boys stood at 93.80 per cent.
The press conference to declare the +2 result will begin at 4 pm. The result of Science and Commerce streams will be declared today while result of Arts stream will be declared later.

School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash informed that the CHSE Odisha +2 result for science and commerce streams will be declared today, however, the council will publish the HSC result for the arts stream within a week. Incidently, CHSE Odisha has been releasing the board results of science and commerce together and arts stream separately from the last few years.
A total of 3,21,508 students in Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams appeared for the CHSE +2 examinations with nearly 2,13,432 students from Arts stream registered for the examination, including 78,077 examinees in science stream. The lowest registration has been recoreded from the CHSE Odisha +2 Commerce steam at 24,136 and 5,863 vocational steam students had registered for the examination.

The CHSE Odisha Plus 2 syllabus was reduced to 60 per cent this year due to the COVID-19 situation. The +2 examinations were conducted from April 28 to May 28, 2022. This year, CHSE Odisha +2 exams were conducted successfully from 8 am to 10 am.

Students can check the class 12 board exam results at the official website. To check the results candidates have to first visit the official website, then enter the required credentials such as – roll number, registration number, and the given image text (captcha). Then the results will appear on the screen. Students are requested to take a printout of the result as it is an important document that will be needed further.
School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash informed that the CHSE Odisha +2 result for science and commerce streams will be declared today i'e on July 27. The result will be declared via press conference along with the name of toppers. After this, the result links will be activated at the official website.
In 2020, 67.56 per cent of the 2.19 lakh students who appeared for the exam were able to pass it. The pass percentage of 65.89 percent was recorded in arts stream which was low as compared to the science stream results, where a pass percentage of 72.33 percent was registered. For commerce, the passing percentage was 74.95 per cent.
