Rajkot: Two injured in separate leopard attacks

RAJKOT: Two persons including a 65-year-old woman were injured in separate leopard attacks in Amreli district on Saturday night and Sunday morning. The first leopard attack was reported from Nageshri village in Jafrabad taluka of Amreli. According to forest officials, the leopard attacked Santokben (65) when she was at her farm on Saturday. The woman suffered injuries on her head and had to be hospitalized in Rajula. Cages were set up to nab the leopard.
The second instance was reported from Vadli village of Jafrabad taluka on Sunday. The leopard attacked Bharat Babhaniya (35) in broad daylight when he was going home from his farm. Babhaniya was taken to Rajula government hospital for treatment. tnn
