Ploggers collect plastic from zoo

Kanpur: Kanpur ploggers collected around one truck plastics, plastic packets and other non-perishable items from Kanpur Zoo on Sunday.
The drive was organized jointly by Kanpur ploggers and Kanpur zoo. Around 70 volunteers participated in this drive and collected a good amount of plastics and other non-perishable items in one hour. Thereafter the volunteers and zoo authorities discussed the ill effects of single use plastic according to Sanjivini Sharma .Krishna Kumar IFS on behalf of zoo administration appeared in the drive .
Sharma informed that since all ghats of river Ganga were submerged in water therefore plogging at Ghats was left and Kanpur Zoo authorities invited the ploggers to help them in getting rid of plastic bags and other items left by the visitors .
