Daredevil
Daredevil was a Netflix original series. However, the MCU series Hawkeye and the movie Spider-Man: No way Home have confirmed that the two lead characters of Daredevils – Wilson Fisk and Matt Murdock, are now a part of Marvel. Ever since, there have been speculations among comic enthusiasts that MCU will have the two arch-rivals collide under its banner.
D'Onofrio's character, Wilson Fisk, is the prime antagonist and mastermind in the MCU series Hawkeye. Fisk, however, appeared only in the last two episodes of the series, giving a glimpse of what could be in store for the Kingpin. Apart from Daredevil: Born Again, D’Onofrio is likely to rival Charlie Cox in Echo, an MCU show expected to release in 2023.
The first season of Daredevil: Born Again will have 18 episodes, more than any other MCU series so far. In fact, none of the MCU series has had more than six episodes in a single season. However, it is still undisclosed whether Born Again will be limited to a single season or will it have multiple seasons.
The series is a part of Phase 4 of the MCU, where Marvel Studios has significantly ramped up the characters under its umbrella. In the process, the studio has also acquired multiple franchises from other banners, including the regaining of X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and Deadpool.
