On Sunday, it was reported that Elon Musk had an alleged affair with Nicole Shanahan, the wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, in December 2021, a month before Brin filed for divorce.
The Wall Street Journal reported the news of their "brief affair," claiming it "ruptured" their longtime friendship, with Musk saying he "regularly crashed" at Brin's home in Silicon Valley while the Google co-founder gave him a huge sum for Tesla during the 2008 financial crisis.
Now, according to the publication's sources, Brin is requesting his removal from his investments in Musk's companies.
The SpaceX CEO, who recently made headlines after welcoming twins in November with an executive of his Neuralink startup one month after welcoming his second child with Grimes, has since commented on the allegations.
He wrote on Twitter: "This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night! I've only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic."
Elsewhere in the thread, he added: "Haven't even had sex in ages (sigh)."
