59 test +ve for Covid in district

Ludhiana: A patient from Sangrur died of Covid and 66 others, including 59 of Ludhiana, tested positive here on Sunday. There are 313 active cases. The district’s case count is 1,12,044 and that of outsiders here is 14,976. So far, 1,08,732 patients have recovered, which constitutes 97.04% of the total cases. On the day, the number of samples taken was 3,629. To date, 37,87,654 samples have been tested for Covid. The district’s toll tally is 2,999 and that of outsiders here is 1,130.
