Big day for democracy as new President from tribal community sworn in: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a programme marking the 10th death anniversary of Late Harmohan Singh Yadav on July 25 said that today is a very big day for our democracy as the new President has been sworn in. “Today is a very big day for our democracy as the new President has been sworn in. For the first time after independence, a woman from tribal community is going to lead our country,” he said.
