Telecommunications company Optus has deployed its 5G network in Melbourne Airport.

Optus says the 5G mobile network will benefit travellers and give them access to business-critical applications such as video conferencing and file sharing.

Passengers can also download files more quickly, stream content, video-call friends and family in ultra-high definition before boarding.

“Optus’ network will deliver a more positive customer and employee experience to the thousands of Australians who choose Optus and pass-through Melbourne Airport’s doors every day,” she concluded.
