BSL staff stage stir over pay

Bokaro: More than hundred junior officers of Bokaro Steel Plant staged a protest at Gandhi Chowk on Sunday under the banner of Bokaro Steel Officers’ Association (BSOA) demanding rectification of their pay discrepancies.
There are about 250 executives in junior officer rank at BSL plant. They demanded that pay anomaly of junior officers of 2008-10 batch, which is pending since long, should be resolved at the earliest.
“After giving several oral and written assurances on their pay revision, SAIL and BSL management have failed to fulfill it,” said A K Singh, president of BSOA. TNN
