One held in Pratapgarh

Prayagraj: Pratapgarh police on Sunday claimed to have arrested a man identified as Abuzar, a resident of Yahiyapur and seized a country made pistol of 0.315 bore along with one live cartridge from his possession.
The police acted on a viral video where the accused was spotted fishing with the help of an illegal weapon on social media.
Cops said that a team of Kandhai police arrested the accused near Kishunganj crossing while he was planning to escape from town. A caseunder section 3\25 arms act was registered against him.
