Van Mahatosav: Pathankot police stations to get green cover

PATHANKOT: Pathankot police initiated a tree plantation drive to mark the Van Mahatosav on Monday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh informed that under this programme, the police force had been encouraged to plant maximum sampling in all the police stations and available private land across the district and nurse the sampling afterwards. “We have urged the police personnel to carry forward the message to their neighbourhood and friends too” said Khakh.
Giving details of the tree plantation drive, he said the saplings would be planted in a phased manner in police stations and available private land.
