Girls chess championship from July 27

Kanpur: Around 190 girls chess players will participate in Kanpur Sahodaya School Chess Championship for girls slated to be held at DPS Azad Nagar school from July 27 to 29,2022.
Announcing the dates of event, principal Puneeta Kapoor stated that CBSE schools related to KSS organization may participate in this three days championship.

As many as 18 schools will participate in class VI th to VIII th championship and 20 schools have given their entries in Class IX th to XII th championship. sSanjay Pal, school sports superintendent, informed that the championship would be played in a five round swiss system. Rules and regulations to conduct this event were approved by Dilip Srivastava secretary Kanpur Chess Association. tnn
