Technology services business Atturra has appointed David Carter to the role of general manager of the company's OutSystems practice.

"Our clients need solutions that respond to business demands at speed. The ongoing technical skills shortage and long development times work against this. We're looking forward to the addition of David Carter's skills and experience to help clients address these digital transformation needs," said Atturra executive general manager Petar Bielovich.

"David has terrific skills from his two decades of experience at working in organisations where he was instrumental in providing the technology vision, strategy and leadership to help his clients scale and derive positive impact."

Carter joins Atturra with more than 20 years of consulting and account management experience in the IT industry.

He previously worked as digital program transformation lead at RPV Consultants, and as an account executive at DB Results, Changepoint, SAS and CSC.

Carter studied IT at the University of Canberra, IT project management at the University of New England, and earned an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales.

He holds multiple industry certifications, including two relating to OutSystems.
