Chhota Udepur BJP president resigns

Vadodara: Chhota Udepur district BJP president Rashmikant Vasava resigned from his post on Sunday after a video of him attending a party event allegedly in an inebriated state went viral on Saturday. Vasava has sent in his resignation letter to Gujarat BJP president C R Paatil.
Vasava had courted controversy on July 22 when he turned up druken to attend an event to celebrate the election of the country’s first tribal president Draupadi Murmu. Vasava was seen stumbling around and was given support by a BJP worker while climbing the stage.
The programme was attended by state health minister Nimisha Suthar. tnn
