Shubhangi Atre, who plays Angoori Bhabhi on the show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shars some memories of her co-actor Deepesh Bhan, who passed away in the morning yesterday. The 41-year-old actor was a fitness enthusiast and while playing cricket in the morning, he collapsed and was declared dead due to brain hemorrhage.
Shubhangi, who was present at his funeral yesterday, said, "I am still in a state of shock and can't believe that Deepu is no more with us. I can't accept this. We all shot on the sets just a day before and he was all well. In fact he had also told us that because he is in his 40s, he did a full body checkup and all the reports were normal."
The two lived in the same building. Shubhangi says, "I was the one who told Deepesh to buy a flat in my building and shift here. He did that and then got married and had a child. He once told us that he had grown up without having his dad around, so he wanted to make sure that he gives all the love to his son. My heart goes out to his family."
The actress adds, "When we didn't meet on the sets, we used to meet in the building. We have worked for six years together and we used to do a lot of masti on the sets. Ab pura set sunaa ho jayega uske bina." Deepesh had many dreams, recounts Shubhangi. "He wanted to do a lot more and had so many dreams. He wanted to do web shows, films and more.. life is very fragile," she says.
