Ludhiana reports 66 Covid cases, one death

LUDHIANA: One person died of Covid whereas sixty six persons tested positive for disease in Ludhiana on Sunday.
Health department officials said that with no Covid related death of the district reported in Ludhiana on Sunday, the total number of deaths remained at 2,999 whereas with one of Sangrur district reported from a Ludhiana Hospital, the number of deaths of outer districts/state increased to 1,130.
Health department said that till date 37,87,654 suspects have been tested for Covid in Ludhiana district. It added that fifty nine persons from Ludhiana tested positive for Covid whereas seven from outer districts/states were found to be infected with Virus here on Sunday.
Local health department officials said that till Sunday the total number of patients from Ludhiana district was 112044 whereas with the number of cases from outer districts/states were 14976.
