Four railway employees, including two who facilitated the assault by standing outside the room, have been arrested. Police said they received a call from the survivor at 2.27am on Friday. She said two men had raped her. A team reached the spot and found that the caller was not there. “When contacted on her mobile phone, the woman told us she was standing near platform number 8-9,” an officer said.
Cops found out that the accused had allegedly raped the woman inside a train lighting hut meant for electrical maintenance staff at platforms 8-9.
DCP (railways) Harendra Kumar Singh said the woman, a resident of Faridabad, told them that she had separated from her husband a year ago and was in the process of getting a divorce. tnn
