Kerala reports 2,021 Covid cases, 13 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state reported 2,021 Covid-positive cases, and 13 deaths were confirmed as due to Covid-19 on Saturday.
Thiruvananthapuram with 477 reported the highest number of cases, followed by Ernakulam (450). The cases reported in other districts are: Kottayam (213), Kollam (207), Thrissur (147), Pathanamthitta (138), Alappuzha (125), Palakkad (78), Idukki (54), Kozhikode (44), Malappuram (33), Kannur (22), Kasaragod (17) and Wayanad (16).
The test positivity rate till Friday is 12.35% and the average TPR for the last seven days is 12.68%. Presently, the total number of active cases are 25,577 with the highest in Thiruvananthapuram (7,538), followed by Ernakulam (3,724).
