BJP of misusing Enforcement Directerate to harass Congress chief

The protest was staged by the party workers led by KPCC president DK Shivakumar. The rally was taken out from Dr BR Ambedkar Circle to Kittur Chennamma Circle, where Shivakumar addressed the workers. “Harassing Sonia Gandhi, who has made sacrifices for the country, is not human. BJP is misusing ED, I-T wing and CBI to make opposition members join BJP. Congress workers are not scared of these tactics,” Shivakumar said.
He also blamed the BJP government for price rise and GST on food items. MLA Prasad Abbaiyya, while talking to police during the rally, expressed his anger over the notice issued to the party leaders against staging the protest. MLAs Abbayya, Kusumavati Shivalli, former minister A M Hindasgeri, former MLA N H Konaraddi, former MLC Nagaraj Chabbi, and hundreds of party workers took part in the rally.
