Mysuru student bags 3 medals at national varsity skating c’ship

Mysuru: Rea Achaiah (in picture) , a sixth semester student at the city-based Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering bagged three gold medals at the All India Inter University Roller Skater Championship 2021-22 held in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh recently.
Rea already had multiple medals in the national championship to her name. She had also won a bronze medal for the country in the international championship held in South Korea the previous season.
Principal of Vidyavardhaka college B Sadashivegowda said that VTU has also awarded her the ‘Best Female Sportsperson of the Year’, according to a release. tnn
