Students of SAI International School in Bhubaneswar on Friday
BHUBANESWAR: As many as 97.69% students from the state passed the CBSE Class X examination, the results of which were announced on Friday. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) outperformed others like Kendriya Vidyalayas, independent and government schools with a stunning pass rate of 99.96%.
KVs had a pass rate of 99.43%, independent schools 98.17% while in government schools 95.80% passed and the schools of Central Tibetan School Administration (CTSA) had a pass rate of 87.50%.
Most city schools also had scored 100% results despite the pandemic. Shreya Pattanayak of Mother’s Public School scored a perfect 500 out of 500 in the exam while all students of the institution passed the exam.
DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar also recorded 100% pass rate. Out of total 312 students, 310 secured more than 60% marks. DAV Public School, Unit-VIII, shone with students securing a record 89.70% average aggregate marks with all 284 students passing in Class XII and 277 in Class X. A total 183 students secured more than 90% and 244 students secured more than 80%. Bhoomika Das, Sai Shreyansh Panda, and Swayam Prakash Pani topped with 499 marks (99.8%).
KiiT International School (KiiT-IS) also achieved 100% pass rate. Soumi Biswas was the school topper with 99% marks. Similarly 197 students of ODM Public School passed the exam, with Aditya Kar securing 99.8% marks. At BJEM School, all 252 students passed the exam.
