Woman’s gold chain snatched

Vadodara: A woman was targeted by two chain-snatchers in Vadsar area of the city on Thursday morning. The incident occurred at 11.30am when Anita Sharma, a resident of GIDC Road, was returning home with her daughter. The accused duo was riding a motorbike and they spotted Sharma on the busy road.
CCTV images of the incident show that the accused took a U-turn and snatched the gold chain of Sharma before escaping from the spot. She raised an alarm but the duo disappeared within seconds. Police have launched a search for the chain-snatchers. This is the third such incident in the city in the last one month. tnn
