CBSE Result 2022 Announced: 92.71% students pass Class 12th exam, check at results.cbse.nic.in

Over 33,000 students scored marks above 95 per cent while 1.34 lakh students scored above 90 per cent, the board said.
In a first, the board exams were conducted in two terms for the academic session 2021-22. In theory papers, 30 per cent weightage has been given to the first term marks, while 70 per cent weightage is given to second term marks. In practical papers, equal weightage has been given to both terms.
The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) performed the best with 98.93 per cent students passing the exam followed by schools run by Central Tibetan School Administration (CTSA) with 97.96 pass percentage, Kendriya Vidyalayas (97.04 per cent), government aided (94.81 per cent), government schools (93.38 per cent) and private schools (92.20 per cent).
Prayagraj put up the worst show among 16 regions, securing a pass percentage of 83.7%. Trivandrum emerges as the best performing region with pass percentage of 98.83%.
Students, who appeared for the CBSE 12th board examination, can check and download their results through DigiLocker using the PIN provided by their respective schools.

Candidates may also use an SMS service to get the CBSE 10th result. All you have to do is type relevant information such as (cbse10( roll no) (sch no) (center no)) and send it to the number 7738299899. When CBSE declares the results, your respective mark sheets will be sent to you via text message on your registered number.

Merit Certificate
This year, the board will issue merit certificate to 0.1% of students who have scored the highest marks. However, as per an earlier decision of the board to avoid unhealthy competition amongst the students, no merit list will be declared. The board is not awarding first, second or third division to its students.
70% weightage given to Term-II Examination
The CBSE has given 30 per cent weightage for Term-I (Theory) exams while 70 per cent weightage is given to Term-II (Theory) exams. The equal weightage of both Term I and Term II is given to practical examination.
CBSE Class 12th Final Result 2022: After rechecking, higher marks are retained
Students who were not satisfied with their marks, were asked to inform CBSE through their schools. CBSE provided the opportunity to the students of both classes X and XII after the performance of Term I was announced. CBSE evaluated all such cases and took the following decision.
a) Wherever marks have increased after recheck, these have been taken into consideration for preparing the final result.
b) in case, the marks have been reduced, old, i.e., higher marks have been taken into consideration in preparing the final result.
