CBSE Class 12 Result 2022 LIVE Updates: CBSE class 12th results declared; girls outperform boys by 3.29%

ln the light of lessening of impact of the Covid pandemic across the globe, the Board has decided to conduct 2023 examinations from February 15, 2023.

Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala has recorded the highest pass percentage at 98.83 per cent followed by Bengaluru with 98.16 per cent, Chennai with 97.79 per cent, Delhi east and Delhi west with 96.29 per cent. However, Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj has recorded the lowest pass percentage at 83.71 per cent.

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) performed the best with 98.93 per cent students passing the exam, followed by schools run by Central Tibetan School Administration (CTSA) with 97.96 pass percentage, Kendriya Vidyalayas (97.04 per cent), government-aided (94.81 per cent), government schools (93.38 per cent) and private schools (92.20 per cent).

Over 67,000 students have been placed in compartment.

CBSE will announce the class 10 results at 2pm today.

Since Digilocker access is not available in foreign countries, so there's special provision for foreign students to Access of Digital Academic Documents (Mark sheet Cum Certificates & Migration Certificates) by students of CBSE schools located in foreign countries.

After activation of DigiLocker accounts students can access their Digital Academic Documents under the Issued Documents section. The student wise Security PIN file is being given in Schools in their DigiLocker accounts from where schools can download and disseminate Security PIN to individual students.

To strengthen security and privacy of students' data, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to introduce 6-digit Security PIN-based activation for students DigiLocker accounts.

Students can check their results on official website, cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Students can also check their results on DigiLocker or UMANG app.

According to CBSE, 4.72 per cent of students have been placed in the compartment.

Performance of candidates in foreign schools

Prayagraj region put up the worst show among 16 regions, secured a pass percentage of 83.7%. Trivandrum emerges as the best performing region with pass percentage of 98.83%.

Further, the students who offered six or more subjects and were not able to pass in any of the first 5 subjects except language, declared pass by replacing 6th subject from the failed subject are also allowed u1 Compartment Examination to improve the performance in the failed subject.

For all the students who are placed in the Compartment Category, the Compartment examination will be conducted from August 23, 2022. Compartment examinations would be held on the syllabus of Term 2 examinations.

As it is envisaged in the National Education Policy, 2020 that students should be provided more opportunities to improve their performance, hence, Class 12 students will be allowed to improve their performance in 01 subject in the compartment examination.

Performance of candidates in overall Delhi region

CBSE will also provide facilities to the students as provided in earlier years of getting their marks verified, obtaining photocopy, and the re-evaluation. In this regard, a notice is being issued separately by the Board.

This year, the Board is not awarding first, second or third division to its students.

This year, the Board will issue merit certificate to students who have scored the highest marks in the subjects. However, as per the earlier decision of the Board to avoid unhealthy competition amongst the students, no merit list will be declared.
