Netflix's Virgin River is one of the most famous shows on the platform. The romantic series has returned with its fourth season which has some new faces and the old cast.

Season four revolves around the lead characters of Martin Henderson and Alexandra Breckenridge. Martin plays the role of Jack, and Alexandra portrays Mel, along with the lovable tight-night community of Virgin River, a fictional town in California.

Virgin River is inspired by shows like Gilmore Girls and Dawson's Creek, which portray the life of small towns. The show has picked up from the ending of season 3. Virgin River's Season 3 finale showcased two new characters, which have expanded screen time in the latest season. Besides, a popular personality missing from season 3 also returned in season 4.

Veteran actor McCrea, who could not shoot for season 3 due to the Covid situation, has been featured in season 4 in the role of Hope, the mayor of Virgin River. Besides Henderson, Breckenridge, and McCrea, the show has a huge cast.

Veteran actor Tim Matheson plays the role of Doc Mullins, a doctor in the town of Virgin River. In the series, Doc is McCrea's ex-husband. Her current fiancé, Mullins, is Mel's boss.

The series presents Benjamin Hollingsworth as . He is a bad boy with a good heart. In season 3, he falls in love with Jack's sister Brie but is also accused of shooting Jack. The role of Brie is played by Grey's Anatomy actor Allen.

Actor Collin Lawrence portrays Preacher. The Preacher had served in the army along with Jack. The audience also sees Lauren Hammersley in the show as Charmaine Roberts, Jack's ex-girlfriend.

Actors Grayson Maxwell Gurnsey (Ricky), Kai Bradbury (Denny Cutler) and Mark Ghanime (Dr Cameron Hayek) are also a part of Virgin River.
