81 new Corona cases in Vadodara

Vadodara: Another spike in Covid-19 cases was witnessed in the city and district with 81 new cases being reported on Wednesday. The spike pushed the number of active cases beyond 400. The new cases were reported from 2,167 tests conducted during the 24 hours ending on Wednesday evening. They include 65 cases from VMC limits and 16 from areas outside city limits. VMC west zone reported the highest number of cases with 22, followed by north zone with 19, south zone with 14, and east zone with 10. Against the 81 new cases, the number of persons discharged remained much lower at 45 on Wednesday. This pushed the number of active cases to 425.
