Congress chief Sonia Gandhi has arrived at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office for questioning in an alleged money laundering case related to the National Herald newspaper. Her questioning had been deferred earlier after she was hospitalised after testing positive for coronavirus. Meanwhile, the Congress, including its state units, has planned protests in solidarity with the party chief.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi arrived at the Enforcement Directorate office around noon today for questioning in a money laundering case linked to National Herald newspaper. Her daughter and party leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was present in the car. Rahul Gandhi also accompanied his mother and sister, but left after dropping them.

Congress MPs are now reaching the party's headquarters in a bus. They have been protesting at the Parliament complex against the questioning of party chief Sonia Gandhi.

- Sonia Gandhi will be questioned by an Assistant Director-level woman officer, said sources
- She is expected to arrive at the ED office at noon.
- A team led by by Assistant Director Monica Sharma will question the Congress chief.
- Five officers will be present during the questioning.

- Priyanka Gandhi has been allowed inside the ED office during questioning.
- The questioning will be held in three parts.

Keeping the health issues of Congress president Sonia Gandhi in mind, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has allowed a person to be present in the ED office premises with medicines along with her lawyer, said sources. However, neither the lawyer nor the person accompanying her will be allowed to be with her during the questioning.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has arrive at the 10, Janpath residence of his mother and party chief Sonia Gandhi, ahead of her questioning by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case linked to the National Herald newspaper.
