Ranchi: The process for admission in intermediate schools and colleges for Class XI has begun with the issue of application and registration forms. The price of registration forms for Inter colleges ranges from Rs 400 to Rs 700, while in Plus II schools these forms are available for Rs 10 to Rs 20.
Admission in several colleges and Plus II schools will take over one month depending on the availability of seats.
Deepa Choudhary, principal of Amar Shahid Thakur Vishwanath Sahdev Zila Vidyalaya, said, “We are allowing students to take admission without transfer certificate. They will, however, have to submit the certificate when they receive it from their school. The admission process will continue for over one month as most of the students have not received their original documents till now.”
Ashish Kumar, principal of Marwari + 2 High School, said, “The crowd is comparatively more compared to the last two years which was impacted because of the pandemic. The school will be taking admission for more than one month.”
A total of 3,73,893 students passed JAC Class X exams, the results of which were declared on June 21.
As per the JAC officials, there are 7 lakh seats available in JAC Inter School and Colleges.
