Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.1% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:25AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 2.21 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.9 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 0.55 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 2.43 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 1.82 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 0.75 per cent), DLF(down 0.43 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 0.26 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.1 per cent at 435.5 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 193.75 points at 16534.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 701.32 points at 55468.94.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 47 were trading in the green, while 3 were in the red.

Shares of ONGC, , SAIL, Vedanta and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of , Royal Orchid, ., and Mangalam Worldwide Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vikas Proppant & Gr, , and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
