Following the news, Zuari Industries ended 5.5 per cent higher at Rs 150.60. The stock of Manali Petrochemical ended three per cent higher at Rs 103.70.
New Delhi: Ace investor Dolly Khanna, known for smallcap bets, has picked up 1.17 per cent stake in Zuari Industries and 1.09 per cent stake in Manali Petrochemical. The name of Chennai-based Khanna, whose portfolio is managed by her husband Rajiv, appeared in the June shareholding data.

Following the news, sugar stock ended 5.5 per cent higher at Rs 150.60. In the last one year, the stock has given a negative return of 4.5 per cent.

The stock of Manali Petrochemical ended three per cent higher at Rs 103.70. In the last one year period, the stock has rallied over 29 per cent.

It could not be ascertained whether both are new picks by Khanna as her name was missing from the list of top shareholders of the two companies in the March quarter. Companies are obliged to reveal names only if their shareholding is at least 1 per cent.

Khanna is known to tilt towards traditional stocks in manufacturing, textile, chemicals and sugar sectors.
