UP’s first archive office of RSS at Vishwa Samvad Kendra

Varanasi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh opened the first archive office of UP in its Kashi regional unit’s Vishwa Samvad Kendra (VSK) here on Monday.
The archive office was formally inaugurated by RSS Kashi region Pracharak Rameshji amidst chanting of Vedic mantras and religious rituals on the first Shrawan Monday.
Rameshji said, “As per the planning of RSS, archive offices will be established in each regional unit and will operate independently. In UP, Kashi region has become the first to get the archive unit at its VSK.”
Region’s archive office Pramukh Dr Satya Prakas Pal said that all the work of senior and active volunteers of RSS and its frontal organizations and documents of the unit concerned will be preserved in the archive offices.
Other senior office bearer Jayanti Lal Shah said that the top leadership of the sangh had taken decision about establishing archive offices in each region units six months ago as the RSS will be completing 100 years of foundation of the RSS soon. Work to archive all important documents and works of RSS functionaries started immediately, he added.
Senior office bearers of RSS including Dr Rakesh Tiwari, Dr JP Lal, Krishna Chandra, Dr Harendra Rai, Pradeep Kumar and Vijay Jaiswal were present at the ceremony.
