Presidential poll: AIUDF MLA alleges Assam Congress MLAs of cross-voting

All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) leader Karimuddin Barbhuiya on July 18 alleged Assam Congress MLAs of cross-voting in the Presidential election. Speaking to ANI, Barbhuiya said, “There was a Congress meeting yesterday, it was attended by only 2-3 MLAs. Only District Presidents were there. What was the need for a meeting in Assembly? Clear that Congress is cross-voting, it may be 20plus. You can see numbers on the day of result.”
