Actress Sudha Chandran, who is a part of Naagin 6, shares how her role is on a break in the show. She says, "They have put my character in coma and I don't know if they will revive my character in Naagin 6. But I am currently also hosting the crime show Crime Aler and I enjoy anchoring. This is the first time I am hosting a show on TV. I have always associated Anup Soni with crime-based shows and so this was a refreshing new opportunity for me."
Talking about the struggles in life, the actress has always believed that one should never lose hope and rise to the challenges of life. Her 80s film Naache Mayuri was a good depiction of her life. Sudha says, "The fact that I got to play myself was a golden opportunity and the film broke many norms in showbiz."

The actress, who has done many Bollywood films and TV shows, says, “Naache Mayuri was a rare biopic, where the lead actor was enacting a role about her life on the screen for the first time. However, it's very sad that today when biopics are mentioned, people have completely forgotten a film like Naache Mayuri. I played a role that was about my life and it was a milestone for me."

Talking about the film further, she says, "The film changed a lot of things for people. It's important to watch these films. After Naache Mayuri, I never realised the impact that my role had on people. It's only when I met them after many years, they narrated their experience of watching the film. Some of them are today's topmost entrepreneurs or people who were going through terrible times in their lives. But when they saw the film, it changed their perspective and they're very successful today. It inspired so many people. I feel biopics have to be made with a strong message to society."

Ask her if she would like to pen her own autobiography and she says, "There is an autobiography of me in Tamil and Malayalam. So, it's already done. Also, the film has said it all."
