Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 7.11 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.28 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 0.85 crore), (number of shares traded: 0.85 crore), ARC Finance(number of shares traded: 0.56 crore), Shalimar Prod(number of shares traded: 0.51 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.46 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.32 crore), Quadrant Tele(number of shares traded: 0.30 crore) and Karda Const(number of shares traded: 0.28 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:26AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 32.95 points up at 16311.45, while BSE Sensex was up 129.79 points at 54650.94 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 1.75 per cent), .(up 1.63 per cent), .(up 1.61 per cent), .(up 1.43 per cent) and .(up 1.30 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 1.36 per cent), .(down 0.91 per cent), Ltd.(down 0.89 per cent), .(down 0.71 per cent) and ITC Ltd.(down 0.71 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
