AgenciesNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 246.47 points up at 54767.62 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Baroda Extrusion(down 19.96 per cent), Cian Healthcare(down 19.95 per cent), Ltd.(down 16.47 per cent), B P Capital(down 15.61 per cent) and Regency Investments(down 15.49 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 62.05 points up at 16340.55.
On the BSE, , , , and Silver Pearl Hospitality & Luxury Spaces Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , , , Ltd. and Steel Cast touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
