Chennai: Artist Achuthan Kudallur passes away

CHENNAI: Well-known artist Achuthan Kudallur passed away early morning on July 18. For the past couple of days, the artist was admitted to a hospital but developed complications on Sunday night. He was 77.
Achuthan Kudallur, the abstract artist with a degree in civil engineering, was born in 1945 in Kerala, but lived alone in Chennai. He has participated in several art shows in India and abroad and was a well-regarded name in South Indian contemporary art.
