Man nabbed after video shows him firing in air in Noida

NOIDA: A video of a man firing in the air in Sector-122 was shared on social media, after which police arrested him on Saturday morning. POlice said Pramod Yadav is a resident of Parthala Village of Noida.
On Friday night, a video of 17 seconds went viral on social media, where a man was sitting on the driver’s seat in a car and firing in the air. After checking the video, police registered an FIR in Sector-113 police station. A team was formed to nab Yadav.
Sharad Kant, SHO of Sector-113 police station said that the incident was captured on Friday night. “With the help of CCTVs installed in the area, he was arrested from his house in Parthala,” the SHO said.
“During the interrogation, he told police that he was drinking along with friends and he fired in the air to make a reputation in front of his friends. His intention was not to harm anyone,” the officer added. Police have registered a case against Yadav under Section 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others) of IPC and relevant section of the Arms Act. A country made pistol and a car were recovered from his possession.
