AAP marks entry into MP with Rani Agrawal’s victory, workers rejoice in Delhi

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers celebrated after the party’s Rani Agrawal won from the Singrauli Municipal Corporation in Madhya Pradesh on July 17. With this victory, Aam Aadmi Party set its feet in the political landscape of Madhya Pradesh. Agrawal defeated Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Chandra Pratap Vishwakarma by over 9,000 votes. Vishwakarma was the chairman of the outgoing Singrauli Municipal Corporation.
