HYDERABAD: Even as the river Godavari continues to be in spate, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday has issued yellow alert for 10 districts in north and eastern parts of Telangana, for the next two days.
The warning is for Kamaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadadri Kothagudem, Karimnagar, Warangal Rural, Waranagl Urban, Jangaon.
The forecast suggested the districts will receive light to moderate rainfall on Sunday and Monday.
However, rains will continue to occur across the state along with cloudy sky with the windspeeds ranging between 8kmph and 14kmph. For Hyderabad and surrounding districts, only light rains are expected in afternoon and evening hours on both the days.
There is no warning in place from July 19 onwards. While no new flash flood alert has been issued for Telangana by IMD on Saturday.
