Rain lashed parts of the national capital on Saturday, providing some relief from warm and humid weather in the city. The minimum temperature settled at 28.3 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Similarly, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius.

The weather department had earlier forecast a generally cloudy sky with light rain and thundershowers at a few places on Saturday.
According to the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), New Delhi, the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 37 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively on Sunday.

Predicting rain and thundershowers, the IMD wrote, " Thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of entire Delhi and Delhi- NCR.." (sic)
