Death of father-son duo: Attingal police question relatives

Thiruvananthapuram: The Attingal police on Friday questioned relatives in connection with the suspected suicide of Prakash Devarajan (50), a resident of VT Nagar at Cheenikonam near Manikanteswaram at Nettayam, and his son Sivadev (12). Devarajan had reportedly drove his car into a truck at high speed while his son was inside the vehicle at Mamam in Attingal on June 22.
“A team of police questioned the relatives of Devarajan at Vilappilsala and Karipoor in Nedumangad. The investigation is progressing,” said station house officer of Attingal police station.
In the suicide note recovered from the car and the social media posts shared, Devarajan had listed the names of five persons, including his wife Sivakala, as the reason behind their death. tnn
