Take 'Amrit dose', give boost to India's fight against Covid says Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath

LUCKNOW: Terming the free precautionary dose of vaccine against Covid-19 as "Amrit dose", Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday launched the statewide 75-day campaign to administer vaccine to adults in the age group of 18-59 years.
The Chief Minister visited Shyama Prasad Mukherjee (Civil) Hospital here to inaugurate the campaign which targets over 12 crore people across the state, including around 10 lakh population in Lucknow.
Addressing media persons outside the hospital, the Chief Minister said, "The Union government has taken the decision to give free precautionary vaccine shots to every eligible person above 18 years of age as 'Amrit dose' during the 75-day campaign under 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. Everyone should take free precautionary doses and take forward the country's fight against the Covid pandemic."
