AI, Vedic maths in school lauded

Dharwad: Deputy commissioner Gurudatt Hegde said schools need to combine subjects such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Vedic Mathematics with traditional subjects while imparting education, according to the New Education Policy.
Interacting with the students of the Smt Leelavati Charantimath Public School in Dharwad at his office here on Thursday, he lauded the institution for introducing AI and Vedic Maths.
He said that to prepare children for the changes in technology it was necessary to teach relevant subjects so that they remained updated. The founder of the school, Arun Charantimath, head of Vedic Maths Institute Guru Raj and others were present.
