Thiruvananthapuram: State general education minister V Sivankutty on Friday sent a letter to union minister for education Dharmendra Pradhan, seeking his intervention to speed up the class 10 results of CBSE and ICSE boards so that students who wish to migrate to the state board for plus one would benefit.
Despite the state board publishing class 10 results on June 14, Kerala had delayed the plus one admission process to include the CBSE and ICSE board students in the admission process. But, since the national boards have not announced their results yet, Kerala was forced to go ahead with the class 11 admission process. This may cause hardships to CBSE and ICSE board students who plan to shift to Kerala state board as they are to be considered for admission only through a supplementary phase allotment.
Sivankutty requested the union minister to take necessary steps to direct the authorities concerned to publish the 10th results at the earliest.
