Life Insurance Corporation of India: The state run insurance behemoth reported the Indian Embedded Value (IEV) at Rs 5,41,492 crore as of March 31, 2022, as compared to Rs 95,605 crore as of March 31, 2021. The Embedded Value (EV) is a measure of the consolidated value of shareholders' interest in the life insurance business.
Bharti Airtel: The telecom operator said it has allotted over 7.1 crore equity shares to internet major Google for Rs 734 apiece. The allotment is part of Google's commitment to invest $1 billion with Airtel, which included equity investment in the company worth $700 million, about Rs 5,224 crore.
Dabur India: The FMCG major has four brands in its kitty having a turnover of Rs 1,000 crore and above, according to the company's annual report. Its two brands -- Dabur Honey and Dabur Chyawanprash - have over Rs 500 crore in sales.
ACC: The cement maker reported a 60.07 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 227.35 crore in June 2022 quarter, due to rise in fuel costs and related inflationary impacts. The company posted a profit of Rs 569.45 crore in April-June 2021.
Tata Elxsi: The Tata Group's IT arm clocked a robust 63 per cent growth in profit at Rs 184.7 crore for quarter ended June 2022 on strong operating profit and topline growth. The company reported a 30 per cent rise in the revenues from operations at Rs 725.9 crore.
Cipla: The pharma major said its arm Cipla Health Ltd has signed definitive agreements to acquire nutritional supplement brand Endura Mass from Medinnbelle Herbalcare for an undisclosed sum.
Infotech: The IT company posted a 27.6 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 633.5 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2022. It had registered a profit of Rs 496.3 crore in the same period a year ago.
Tata Steel Long Products: The metal products producer posted a net loss of Rs 331.09 crore in the June quarter, mainly on account of higher expenses. The company had a profit of Rs 331.60 in the year-ago period.
Angel One: The stock broking company has reported a healthy 46.5 per cent rise in the net profit to Rs 181.5 crore for the quarter ended June 2022, backed by strong topline. The revenue grew by 45 per cent to Rs 669.8 crore on a yearly basis, thanks healthy growth in fees, commission income and interest income.
Syngene International: The pharma firm said it has signed a 10-year agreement with animal health company, Zoetis, to manufacture the drug substance for Librela which is used for treating osteoarthritis in dogs.
Torrent Power: The electric utility firm has bagged a 300 MW wind energy project in Karnataka from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The estimated cost of the project is Rs 2,600 crore, the company said.
GTPL Hathway: The TV broadcasting company has reported a 9 per cent decline in the profit to Rs 43.25 crore in quarter ended June 2022, but revenue increased nearly 5 per cent to Rs 630.9 crore in the same period with subscription revenue rising 3 per centto Rs 272.7 crore and broadband revenue increasing 24 per cent to Rs 113.9 crore.
GKP Printing: The printing solutions provider company said its board meeting is scheduled to be held on August 01, 2022 to consider and approve bonus shares.
