Karnataka: 3 die in car-auto collision in Mandya

MANDYA: Three persons died on spot and two were grievously injured when a car rammed into an auto on the outskirt of Malavalli town on Wednesday night.
The victims were identified as Ravikumar (52), Shrinivas (35) and Bhaskar (48).
Ravikumar and Bhaskar were residents of Bengaluru and Srinivas was a resident of Huligerepura.
According to police, the victims were travelling towards Bengaluru from Kanikahalli which is the native place of Ravikumar. The car collided head-on with the auto in which the victims were travelling, the police said.
Two occupants of the car, who are seriously injured, are being treated at Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) hospital.
A case has been registered in Malavalli rural police station.
