5-year-old boy drowns in pond

Mangaluru: A five-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Thenkattu near Brahmavar on Wednesday. The deceased is Lawren Levis, the son of Norman and Silvia.

His parents had come from Kuwait recently on vacation, to their hometown Thenkabettu near Uppoor, a few days ago. Their son’s birthday was celebrated on July 4, at his uncle’s house in Thenkabettu.
On Wednesday, Lawren was playing behind the house, and subsequently went missing .
He was not found till evening, and his body was later found near the pond, sources said.
