PIGL(up 4.95%), KEC International(up 3.28%), Orient Green Power Company(up 2.12%), Energy Development Company(up 0.88%), NHPC(up 0.88%), Torrent Power(up 0.63%), Transmission(up 0.54%), Adani Power(up 0.53%), Tata Power Company(up 0.32%) and Jyoti Structures(up 0.32%) were among the top gainers.
Voltamp Transformers(down 4.06%), Indowind Energy(down 2.19%), Alstom T&D India(down 2.16%), JSW Energy(down 1.75%), Karma Energy(down 1.57%), ADANIGREEN(down 1.31%), Inox wind(down 1.07%), KPI Green Energy(down 1.04%), Reliance Power(down 0.88%) and Suzlon Energy(down 0.79%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 36.6 points up at 15975.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 94.18 points at 53510.33 at around 11:00AM.
TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.63%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.96%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.72%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.42%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.36%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.19%), HDFC(up 1.09%), Tata Motors(up 1.07%), Nestle India(up 1.05%) and Asian Paints(up 1.0%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Wipro(down 1.77%), HCL Technologies(down 1.42%), Coal India(down 0.96%), Tata Steel(down 0.88%), Axis Bank(down 0.85%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.72%), ICICI Bank(down 0.62%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.55%), Tech Mahindra(down 0.5%) and State Bank of India(down 0.27%) were trading in the red.
