BERHAMPUR: The Ganjam district administration has decided to conduct a health survey on the disease profile of every individual to deliver healthcare facilities easily to the people. The survey team consisting of Asha, anganwadi and other health workers will visit every house to collect the data.
“The digitalisation of healthcare information will help the administration about area and population-specific diseases and make it easy to deliver the healthcare facilities,” said Dibya Jyoti Parida, collector (Ganjam) on Monday. The surveyor will treat each municipality and panchayat as a unit in the district that is home to 40 lakh people.
Reviewing the healthcare activities in the district on Saturday, he stressed the need for replacement of some equipment in hospitals for effective treatment of the patients.
