One soldier killed, 3 injured in ‘fratricide’ in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch

JAMMU: In a suspected incident of fratricide early on Friday morning, one soldier was killed and three others were injured in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. The incident of 'shootout' happened inside an Army Camp at Surankote.
Confirming the incident, officials it happened around 5.30am on Friday.
Sources said that some army personnel sustained injuries in the incident, while one death was also reported.
"The exact reason behind the firing is not known yet," they said.
They also said that senior police and army officials have rushed to the spot. Further details were awaited, they added.
